We are living in interesting times.  All you have to do is pick up the newspaper and you read of events that are unprecedented.  Things such as shutting the entire planet down for a pandemic. Then there is the increase in crime being seen at the same time groups advocate defunding the police.  Insanity seems to be the order of the day.

Have you also noticed that finding out what the true story of what is really going on has become a rather daunting task. It seems everyone now has an agenda or a narrative to spin what their particular view of the truth really is.  I am reminded of a question that was asked by a Roman leader, Pilate, centuries ago.   In a conversation with Jesus, “Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?” (John 18:38a, NASB 2020)

In the Bible, we get, as Francis Schaeffer said, "true truth."  The book of Revelation contains images and pictures that many say are difficult to understand, but they really aren't.  You see, much of Revelation is based on having an understanding of the Old Testament.  Understanding it helps us to understand a bit more of what is really going on these days.
