There are many, many promises in the Bible. If you don’t believe me, just open it up and see! However, as Pastor Ken points out, many of those promises are linked to faithfulness, repentance, and obedience. The problem is that many people today don’t really want to live in faithfulness, repentance, and obedience. They want all the benefits by doing none of the work. You can’t buy favor with God. He’s not after your wallet, but rather your heart. Today, will you walk in obedience? Will you be faithful and repent?
